M-Tech - Sole UK Distributor for Racelogic VBox products and Main Dealer for MoTeC Engine Management and Data Acquisition systems.
At Racelogic we have seen the development of the original VBox into the current diverse range providing performance measurement systems for most of the world's vehicle and tyre manufacturers and testing agencies. Common testing applications include Brake Testing, ADAS Validation, Electronic Stability Control (FMVSS126) Testing, Drive By Noise Testing, Aquaplane Testing, Coastdown, Lane Departure Warning System Testing, Centerline Deviation Testing, Marine Testing and Open Cast Mining Vehicle Monitoring.
Due to the small size and simple installation procedure, the VBOX is ideally suited for use in cars, bikes, off-road vehicles and boats.
Our newly released VBOX3i dual antenna with RTK measures speed, position, acceleration, distance, slip angle and vehicle pitch/roll angle to a very high degree of accuracy and can be used in a much greater number of test scenarios. The VB3iSL-RTK is ideal for validating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
All the design work and most of the manufacturing is carried out in UK which provides us with a sound platform to offer technical sales and support to our end users. We have a diverse customer base from low speed JCB and Caterpillar to high speed Formula One teams.
The Video VBox range offers both an advanced driver training aid and a useful parallel tool to work with VBox on tests for lane control systems in modern vehicles.
Using MoTeC we introduced the concept of programmable engine management systems to British Superbike Racing with the Yamaha R7 race bike in 2000.
We have supplied hardware and technical support to a number of teams operating in the British Superbike and Supersport Championship as well as the World Supersport Championship. In 2012 we provided the electronic expertise to the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki Team in British Superbike operated by Paul Bird Motorsport with Stuart Easton and Shane "Shakey" Byrne as the riders. Shakey went on to win the championship in a dramatic final round at Brands Hatch.
Technical support is now a major element for motorcycle race teams and it is an area in which we are well prepared with the MoTeC product range.
