Billy McConnell takes 2nd place in the British Supersport Championship

After a season long struggle with Steve Plater, Billy finished the 2009 season in second place. Ben Morris from M-Tech provided the MoTeC technical support for the MAP Raceways Yamaha YZF R-6 which was running a MoTeC M880 ECU. Steve Plater's Honda was also running MoTeC M800 ECU and ADL dash logger.

MoTeC also cleaned up in the World Supersport championship with both Cal Crutchlow's Yamaha R6 and Eugene Laverty's Honda CBR600 being equiped with MoTeC electronics. Cal won the WSS championship and Eugene finished second.

MoTeC equipment installed on MoTo GP Ducati

M-Tech have recently installed a MoTeC M880, CDi4 and SDL electronic dash on a GP6 Ducati for a private client.  Starting with no knowledge of the engine configuration, Ben Morris built the wiring loom onto the original engine and chassis loom, programmed the necessary information into the M880 and ran up the bike on a dyno. The bike has since been used at track days at Donington Park and Mugello and is expected to run at the Goodwood Festival in 2010. Oh and Ben is now deaf!

MoTeC equipment installed on ICON Suzuki GSX 1400

M-Tech recently installed an M800, a PDM 16 and a bespoke wiring loom to a GSX 1400 turbocharged special.  There are plans to make a limited production run of this motorcycle.  Watch this space for developments.

Rob Mac Racing Yamaha R1 takes the Plunge!

This was the result of Graham Gowland's R1 trying to be a submarine in the lake at Oulton Park! This bike was equipped with MoTeC M800 ECU and ADL 2 dash both of which survived the accident.  After the ADL2 was dried out, the team were able to download the data from it!
