Advanced Programmable Engine Management Systems
The M48 is the base system for 4 cylinder engines running 2 injectors per cylinder whether car, motorcycle or boat and will provide you with the quality and programmability of the M800 but with less input/output (I/O) options. The M48 has 8 injector drivers and 2 ignition drivers so for a 4 cylinder engine, you will have to run a wasted spark system (unless a MoTec Ignition Expander is used). The M48 is similar to the M4 in most other respects.

Options
Advanced Tuning Upgrade allows Gear Change Ignition Cut, Individual cylinder tables, data logging plus a number of other features specifically geared for car users.
Lambda Upgrade allows the ECU to monitor Lambda. (Advanced Tuning option required for logging).
Other upgrades available are Logging Only, Telemetry and Remote Logging.
