DGPS Base Station
The DGPS Base Stations from Racelogic sends corrections via a
telemetry radio link to your GPS engine to improve positional accuracy
to between 40cm and 2cm, depending on equipment used.
Most VBOXs are compatible with this system. Simply place the Base
Station in a fixed position, let it average the position for 5 minutes,
and then you can measure position to a new level of accuracy. For an

There are two types available: Base Station 2, for 40cm and 20cm DGPS
accuracy; and Base Station 3 for 40cm and 2cm DGPS accuracy.
As an example, when the BS3 is used in conjunction with a
VBOX3R5 (a VBOXIII
equipped with 50Hz RTK) then 2cm accuracy can be achieved. The table
below lists which VBOX/Base Station combination is required for specific
accuracies.
