VBOX II S

The VBOX II S uses GPS to allow you to perform detailed analysis of Braking, Accelerating, Handling and Circuit testing. The VBOX will fit to a car in 30secs, and requires no setting up or calibration.

The system uses a survey grade 20Hz GPS engine, and utilises removable compact flash cards for storage.

The VBOX II S comes as a complete kit with all the accessories necessary to begin testing immediately. This includes, VBOX II DGPS logging unit, antenna, battery pack (6 hour), charger, serial cable, compact flash card (32mbyte), PCMCIA compact flash adapter, VBOX Windows analysis package, manual and padded carrying case.

The following parameters can be logged simultaneously at 20Hz:

Satellites
Time Heading (degrees true north)
Latitude (minutes)
Longitude (minutes)
Velocity over ground (kmh/mph)
Height (meters/feet)
Vertical velocity (kph/mph)
Distance (metres)
Lateral acceleration (g)
Longitudinal acceleration (g)

Outputs:
Rear view of the VBOX II RS232 (all parameters - 115200 baud)
CAN (all parameters - 1Mbit default)
Digital (velocity 90 pulses per metre)
Analogue (velocity 0-5v, scale 0-400kmh)

Note: Values shown are defaults. The range of the Analogue and digital outputs are fully configurable via the VBOX Windows software.

Inputs: VBOX II GPS test equipment
Brake trigger input (scanned at 200KHz)

The VBOX can also be connected to a number of modules to measure external signals such as Analogue, Digital, Thermocouple, Frequency and CAN.
